WHAT WE DO
Real Estate Law Associates is a boutique practice that focuses on the drafting of seller financing instruments for title companies, buyers, and sellers, and assists sellers if/when buyers default on their real estate contracts.
OUR HISTORY
RELA was founded in 1975 by
Larry Buchmiller, Esq. who
also started Security Escrow.
From the beginning, Larry focused primarily on seller financing matters, as did his successor, Pete Springer. In 2016, Ashley acquired the RELA name and to this day, RELA continues to focus on real estate contracts and other forms of seller financing.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Albuquerque lawyer, Ashley Strauss-Martin, has been practicing law since 1996, and real estate law exclusively, since 2002. Since 2007, she has served as General Counsel for the New Mexico Association of REALTORS® and took over the RELA name in 2016. RELA has focused exclusively on real estate contracts and other seller financing instruments since
its opening in1975, drafting
more than 500 real estate contracts annually.
